SINOx® is based on the most effective and approved method to reduce NOx that is available yet - Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). At this method the catalyser changes toxic NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and oxigen.

This is achieved by injecting the endosment of the reduction-appliance AdBlue into the exhaust ahead the catalyser. An electronic contol unit monitors and processes relevant engine data. With this information the exact amount of reduction-appliance will be acquired and injected by the dosing unit.
