Fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas are indispensable resources for power generation. However, their use also has consequences for our environment.
It is well known that nitrogen oxides represent the main contributors to the formation of smog and acid rain. Statutory emissions limits were stipulated in many countries, in Germany by the Air Pollution Control Code (TA Luft and GFA-V) and in the US by the US Congress.
In the early 1980s, Argillon was already developing and manufacturing catalysts and complete systems for the reduction of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases of coal-fired power plants.
Today, we are a world-market leader with over fifteen years of operating experience in more than 500 fossil-fired combustion plants, stationary diesel engines, boiler furnaces and many other areas of application.
Our system of quality and environment management is approved by the certification standards DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001, respectively. The principles of this management system are shared by all employees and, in combination with a continuing improvement process, provide the reliably high quality of all our products.
